Part of a collective exhibition commissioned by Urgell Civic Center of Barcelona, the series explores the primitive essence and bond of the many different motherhoods we are confronted with nowadays. The concept wants to celebrate the parallelism between the magnificence of Mother Nature and one of the most natural and ancestral experience a human being can experiment: motherhood.
I had the pleasure to collaborate with DDB in this project for Volkswagen Spain right before the first big COVID19 lockdown in 2020. The really first idea of the project was to cover the entire L1 metro line of Madrid to illustrate, stop after stop, the evolution of the Golf car through the years till 2020, in occasion of the launch of the new Golf 8. Then, the pandemic happened but luckily enough the work was rescued and repurposed through a series of short video clips beautifully animated that was launched on the client’s IG channel. Poster commissioned by Cointreau and BcnMés -Barcelona local paper- to celebrate the first ever edition of the editiorial contest ‘Arroz Negro’. The project has entered the shortlist of the World Illustration Awards 2021 🏆
The illustration was commissioned by Bcn Més for one of the editions of their new local magazine ‘El Papel’, a compact monthly release of the most interesting topics and events happening in Barcelona. Each edition includes an original artwork printed on fine paper postcards.
The illustration was commissioned by L’Hospitalet city council for ‘Fem Directes’, a series of live interviews with powerful female professionals coming from very different backgrounds. The final image is inspired to the arts and sciences greek muses seen through a modern lense, who create a sophisticated and interconnected balance between them.

The illustration was commissioned by One Billion Rising for the second edition of ‘Rencontres’, a campaign originally ideated by Cynthia Fleury-Perkins and Eve Ensler, to bring together women who are on the front lines of #covid: meetings to fight femicide and gender-based violence. Mural art for Three Marks Coffee, a new specialty coffee place in Barcelona. The painting is located in the restroom and takes up the entire space (ceiling included). The concept behind it is the creation of a parallel world, in contrast with the rational and the minimal design of the cafeteria, in which we can actually see the “three Marks” picking up their fresh coffee beans in the rainforest.

As a design professional, I’m constantly driven by a problem-solving mindset at work and beyond, mostly and sometimes even annoyingly, in my day-to-day life. So, here’s a reflection that I began to elaborate on during the past hectic year of 2020 and the context that it forced us all to face, from confinement to the absolute new paradigm of social interaction. A series of surreal visuals inspired to the boiling Barcelona summer. This collection became a solo exhibition at Garage Beer, a popular brewery in the heart of the Eixample district.
Illustration for the event L’Eixample en un wok, a gastronomical route aimed to promote the rich culinary asian culture of the Eixample district of Barcelona. The concept represents the typical grid layout of the Eixample district which suddenly becomes a tasty dish of noodles. Commissioned by Eixquisit and Barcelona Town Hall.
